Local man invents 'Bolt on Spindle'
Like many of today's inventors, Floyd M. ran into a problem. And since there was no simple - yet permanent - solution, Floyd decided to come up with a way to permanently solve the problem himself. It was on the day Floyd ran into that minor setback with his boat's trailer that "Bolt On Spindle" was born. "I got tied up on the road and I couldn't get it going unless I called a wrecker," Floyd explained. "So I thought of my invention right then and there." This retired auto mechanic put his experience to work and designed a product to prevent similar problems from occurring. "As soon as I got home from fishing, I decided to go to work on it," Floyd further explained. "I designed it and then made it right away." A few years later, Floyd saw an advertisement on television regarding Invention Technologies, which inspired him to patent his idea. Now, Floyd hopes to see his invention, "Bolt on Spindle," make life easier for others as well. Although a detailed description of this product cannot be released to the public at this time, Floyd's invention was specially created to provide a bolt on a trailer spindle for both trailers. "And my invention should be out on the market before long," Floyd excitedly said. "All of my family is so excited about it."
