Chicken Peck invention by DOT employee
Department of Transportation employee, Raymond C., is the inventor of a product called the Chicken Peck. The invention, which works together with a riding lawnmower, offers stability when cutting grass on a hill or slope. It also can serve as an aid when preparing a yard for all types of treatment. Raymond says the invention idea came to him one day after he was out mowing his grass. He says it took five years before he decided to do anything with the idea after researching items already on the market in this area. He then investigated a company he had seen on the television that specializes in helping people start their inventions. Currently, Raymond is in the process of selecting a manufacturer for the invention. "I know that the invention will be a great success once the product hits the market," Raymond says. "It will be a great benefit for people with riding lawnmowers." Raymond has been employed for more than 21 years with the Department of Transportation.
