Woman designs new product
After Gloria R.’s mother was hospitalized for a month due to a broken hip, she conceived the idea for an ingenious new product that bedridden patients everywhere can benefit from. She calls her idea the Incredible Bed Pan.
This ingenious product creates more comfort for patients confined to beds. It is sanitary and can help reduce recurring urinary tract infections. The Incredible Bed Pan is idea for nursing homes, hospitals and private home care. Additionally, this product is soft and eliminates the need to use a cold hard bed pan.
This original idea is now being made available for licensing to manufacturers interested in new product development, especially in the medical industry. Gloria is hoping to have the Incredible Bed Pan in full production and available to the public within the very near future.
Gloria’s mother was hospitalized in February of 2005.
“During the process of being in the hospital and in rehab, the idea just came to me,” said Gloria. “Unfortunately, no on else has thought it was as good an idea as I did,” said Gloria. “It was the inconvenience of getting up and down on a bed pan that had me thinking of a way to make it simple for the patient.”
