Resident Developes Complete Protection and Comfort for Officers of the Law
Law enforcement and Military personnel have a difficult job to do. Not only do they keep our communities safe, they risk their lives doing so. Alan S. an ex-law enforcement officer wanted to develop a safety product that would protect and be functional for those individuals in their day to day services. That's why he created the Ballistic Resistance Shell (BRS). This lightweight protective garment is comfortable and provides a snug fit with "no rise" from the waist and no adjustments for individuals wearing the BRS in protective services, yet allows users to freely move about. Aside from being machine washable, it keeps the individuals cool in the summer and warm in the winter without sacrificing protection.
The BRS is made to fit underneath any uniform or clothing providing conceal-ability of this unique product. The Ballistic Resistance Shell is ideal for secret service, police officers, military personnel, judges and other dignitaries. Mr. S, who has a degree in Visual Communication, believes that his design would benefit the law enforcement community as a whole; Mr. S has worked in law enforcement for city and county, two major investment firms, authored a self-help informational guidebook, and worked as a Director in human/social service agencies developing and designing programs for disadvantage youths and individuals with disabilities. Mr. S considers himself a "Renaissance man" and was inspired to develop the Ballistic Resistance Shell as a result of his experience in law enforcement. Mr. S. has been working on developing and marketing the BRS idea for the past several months.
This original idea is now being made available for licensing to manufacturers interested in new product development, especially in the law enforcement industry.
