Quantico resident designs signal device
Marine Staff Sergeant Tronden J. has designed a "u-turn signal," a device in which a driver may signal of making the looping turn. Tronden's father was driving him home from the airport about ten years ago when he ran into a car in front of him attempting to make a u-turn. "I thought then there must be a way to avoid this. When you make a u-turn you make that sudden stop." He kept the idea tucked away in his head, wondering just how to market it. Then one day he saw an ad for Invention Technologies (InventTech). He submitted it to Invention Technologies about six months ago. They found no patent existed for the product. They will "shop" the idea to manufacturers in the hope that one will license it. Tronden and InventTech would like to see the technology factory installed but also accessible to everyone. Anyone who thinks that licensing such a product would be beneficial is encouraged to call InventTech at 1-(800) 940-9020, ext. 2285.
