Man Invents patch for Cold Relief

A few years ago, Mark Y. and a friend came onto the scene as inventors of a product that would aid in public safety. That product didn’t go over very well, and Mark feels his latest invention will be much better received. Mark has developed a vapor patch for cold relief.
“Inherent properties on the patch enable the user to gain relief without discomfort. It can be discreetly worn to the office, the mall, or any other place where social interactions occur.” Mark said his invention alleviates a lot of fears in taking medication for a cold, and that he started working on his invention 8 months ago.
“My wife had a cold over the winter and we were discussing alternative treatments. Vapor rub is messy, and other medications have side effects. So, I started thinking about all the other products that come in patches like the Icy Hot Patch, the Nicotine Patch, and others, and saw there was no cold patch.”
Mark said oral consumption of decongestants could pose unfavorable risks for persons with heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and thyroid disorders. The Vapor Patch is highly desirable to cold/flu victims.
“The patch will not cure the common cold, but will help relieve the symptoms.”
The original idea is now being made available for licensing to manufacturers interested in new product development, especially in the pharmaceutical industry. “I hope to have the Vapor Patch in full production within the very near future,” said Mark.
“The patch means you won’t have to worry about taking medication, constantly forgetting to take medication. It also means you won’t have to constantly spend money on different cold relief products.”
