Local Peddle Low-Smoke Gas Grill
Two local residents hope their new invention can take some of the mess and stress out of grilling outdoors.
Salvador and Elia P. have secured a patent for the Oven Gas Grill, designed to reduce the smoke normally emitted from conventional grills.
“I’ve always liked to cook, and I was thinking of a way to produce a grill that doesn’t make a lot of smoke,” said Salavator.
In addition, the grill also eliminates the need to flip and turn food being cooked on it so often, said Salvador.
Powered by propane fuel like an everyday outdoor grill, the Oven Gas Grill works like a kitchen stove cooking food thoroughly, and can be used to bake bread and pastries as well as grill meats, Salvador said.
Their invention received a patent earlier this year, and Salvador Perez said he is working with Florida based company Invention Technologies to market the Oven Gas Grill to manufacturers.
“I’ve been looking at manufacturers here in the U.S., in China, Hong Kong and Turkey,” said Salvador.
