The Super Show/World of Sports Innovation

January 12-14, 2004 Orlando, FL Orange County Convention Center

The SuperShow 2004 was held January 12-14, 2004 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida with much media fanfare and local enthusiasm. This was the first year of a three year contract with the new venue (The SuperShow was held in Las Vegas and Atlanta in previous years). Indeed, this was the first large scale exhibition event in the new North/South Concourse of the OCCC since it's opening in September of 2003, said show officials who visited our exhibit. We found the OCCC to be a fantastic trade show facility, Orlando to be a perfect host city and look forward to more events at this venue in the future.

The SuperShow 2004 featured an enormous new "World Of innovation" area spotlighting many of the more creative new products being introduced during the show. Amongst the product demos and information was an extreme sports area with wild skateboard, BMX and inline skate exhibitions. There were also a variety of sports celebrities on hand checking out the exhibits, signing autographs and taking photos. We met Simeon Rice, Larry Holmes, Derek Jeter and several other notable athletes which was certainly a thrill for us! We visited with many companies during the course of the show to discuss their product licensing interests including Bell, Riddell, Liquid Blue, The Pepsi Center arena of Denver, CO and many many more. The media presence was also very encouraging with ESPN dropping by to interview our reps and many reporters and camera crews making the rounds.
